About Me
An Idaho Native. Attended Boise State University and nearly completed the Elementary Education program with an emphasis in Special Ed. While doing field experience began working at the Women’s and Children’s Alliance with those experiencing domestic violence and realized working in the therapeutic field with those who have experienced trauma was a better direction. Changed majors to Sociology and began an internship at the Idaho Coalition Against Sexual and Domestic Violence and assisted in writing Idaho grants focused on funding for domestic violence resources. When graduating at BSU, began working as a PSR and then a CBRS at a local mental health agency. Missing working with children, shifted direction and gained Habilitative Intervention certification and worked at the Children’s Therapy Place as a behavioral therapist working with adolescents with developmental disabilities and autism disorder, as well as providing family support.
Now happily back to CBRS, as well as Case Management to assist those in need to find available resources. Living in rural Idaho with Husband and fur family. Enjoying arts and crafts, gardening/preserving and enjoying all that Idaho has to offer with friends and family.
